Hard Drive Destruction
Retire drives with a documented destruction plan
A hard drive cleanout may involve loose drives, devices awaiting removal or server storage that needs to be separated from reusable equipment. Share your inventory with Stark to discuss the destruction process before pickup.
Discuss Your PickupLoose drives and installed storage
Tell us whether drives are already removed or remain inside computers and servers. Include quantities, media types and any labeling you use to reconcile the devices with your asset register.
Shredding and tracking questions
Ask about shredding options, whether on-site destruction is available for your project, and how serial-number tracking can be arranged. Confirm those requirements before scheduling rather than assuming every pickup includes the same process.
Hard drives and SSDs
Tell us if your batch includes solid-state drives as well as conventional hard drives. Media type affects the destruction plan. Request certificates of destruction and confirm the records needed by your organization.
What to include in your request
Send your equipment list or photos, approximate quantities, pickup address, target timeline and data destruction requirements. We will review eligibility, accepted items and available arrangements before scheduling.
