Data Center Equipment Recycling

Plan the equipment retirement side of a data center project

Server refreshes and rack retirements can generate a mix of reusable hardware, obsolete electronics and data-bearing storage. Stark can discuss collection of retired equipment and data destruction needs as part of your decommissioning plan.

Discuss Your Pickup

Define what is ready for removal

List servers, storage systems, drives, switches and other networking equipment. Tell us whether equipment has been disconnected and removed from racks. Confirm dismantling or handling requirements with our team before assuming they are included.

Coordinate loading and timing

Describe site access, loading docks, freight elevators, security check-in and available collection windows. Identify the person authorized to release assets and flag any equipment that must remain on site.

Keep storage media visible in the plan

Separate the drive inventory from the general hardware count. Discuss destruction methods, tracking where applicable and documentation. Higher-value servers or networking equipment may also qualify for a purchase evaluation.

What to include in your request

Send your equipment list or photos, approximate quantities, pickup address, target timeline and data destruction requirements. We will review eligibility, accepted items and available arrangements before scheduling.
